Apple iPod
The iPod was released on October 23, 2001 and it was created by Tony Fadell. It is able to hold 1,000 songs which was unheard off at this time. It had a circle navigational system with a middle button to select, a menu button to take you home, a play/pause button at the bottom and forward and back buttons on the sides. -
Motorola Razr
The Razr came out in 2004 and was created by Paul Pierce. This phone was the iPhone of the 2000's, anyone was that wanted to appeal to the aesthetics of the time would have one of these. They came in many colors and where incredibly durable. By some it's considered the first great phone of the millennium. -
Youtube
This video-sharing platform started off as a way to share content and it was created by Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley and Steven Chen. Youtube is now the second most visited site in the world and was bought by Google in 2006. Youtube is used for entertainment but it has become so much more than that, many people use it for learning traits, reviews, motivational videos, etc. -
Twitter
Created on March 21st, 2006, Twitter has been one of the most influential social platforms. Founded by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Noah Glass, Biz Stone the company was initially a messaging service but through out the years it has become more of a news outlet for formal and informal news. -
Airbnb
Airbnb was founded by Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia and Nathan Blecharczyk in 2008. It's used mostly for vacation rentals but can also be used for temporary living. It has impacted the rental industry by being strictly mobile and also personable in comparison to traditional hotels.
