French Convention adopted the Goddess of Reason or Wisdom. A woman named Sophie Momoro became the person used to represnt the goddess. She was the wife of a politician during the French Revolution. This celebration was held at the cathedral Notre Dame. -

Constitution of the Year III. This was ratified by The National Convention. Five Directors were chosen to hold executive power in France -
Battle of Lodi
Napoleon in Italy. Lodi is present day Italy. French and Austrian forces battled. Napoleon defeated the Austrian Army who had time to retreat. -
Battle of Trebbia
Napoleon's battle of river Trebbia in northern Italy. Russian and Austrian troops joined forces against the French. Napoleon was defeated. -
Constitution of the Year VIII
Formed a government of consulate. This gave all power to Napoleon. Ended the French Revolution.
