The Five Most Important Events in my Life

  • A Star is Born

    A Star is Born
Today in history, Tiffany Denise Ramsey was born to Timothy J. Ramsey Sr. and Angelia E. Davis at Arlington Hospital in Arlington, VA. The last of three children, I prove to be the glue that holds the family together despite the death of my father and the deathly illness that my mother suffers from.
  • A Father Gone but not Forgotten

A Father Gone but not Forgotten
On this day, Timothy J. Ramsey Sr. passed away. My father was an awesome one. He raised my brother and me alone. During the early 90s, it was almost unheard of for a Black man to be raising his children alone. I commend him for that and am very greatful for the opportunity to have him as MY DAD! He lived a life full of forgiveness and understanding. He set a great example for his children. I just hope to be half the parent he was.
  • My precious flower Jasmine is born

My precious flower Jasmine is born
After 12 long hours of labor, my first child, Jasmine A'mya Taylor was born. Although afraid of natural birth, I attempted it. Jasmine must have known mommie was not too sure about that and her heart rate dropped. An emergency C-section was perfomed. She weighed 5lbs. 14oz and was 21 1/4 in. long.
  • The jewel of my life was born

The jewel of my life was born
Scheduled to be born by C-section on May 25, 2011, Jade Deanna Mae Taylor decided that was too long. My water broke at 9:30pm and she was born at 11:32pm. Jade weighed in at 7lbs. 3oz and was 19 1/2in. long.
  • Unfinished Business

    Unfinished Business
After graduating from high school in 2001, attending University of Maryland, College Park for three years, attending NC A&T for two years, and having two kids, it was finally my time to finish what I started. I reenrolled at A&T and my journey has just begun.
