    In order to gain peace with Britain, George Washington sent John Jay is make peace. Soon Jay returned with a treaty saying that if the US payed their debts to Britain, Britain would no longer attack them.

    After Jay's Treaty was signed Spanish Leaders were worried that the US and Britain would attack them. Soon enough a man named Thomas Pickney was went to make peace with them. Soon the Pickney's Treaty was made.

    When US ships were being raided by France, the president sent three diplomats to France, in order from any more US ships from being attacked. Soon the diplomats met the French officials. In order to stop the attacks the French officials wanted tribute, which the diplomats refused.
