    This amendment gives you the right to a speedy trial(They cannot throw you in jail & throw the key away.You have the right to a jury of your peers.

    You can't be given excessively high bail or gines.The goverment/police cannot inflict cruel or unusaul punishment on you Toture).

    The goverment cannot claim that the rights listed in the B.O.R are the only rights that people have.

    10th Amendment/B.O.R
    If is not directly granted to the federal goverment in the Constitution then that power does not belong to the Federal Goverment.Instead that power automatically belongs to either the state goverment or the people.
