Thousands of women gathered to debate and discuss. There was a unanimous vote that a modification needed to occur and they organized, planned and protested for it.

    This case challenged a Texas law that prohibited all but lifesaving abortions. The supreme court ruled that the state did not have the power to interfere with abortion decisions.
