Emmett Till murdered for being rude to a white woman. Instead he was actually flriting. Two men took and forced Emmett into an abandoned shack. He was physically abused then shot in the head. The two men later tied him to a 75 pound rock so Emmetts body will not float to the top of the Tallahassee River. Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam were the two men.They were only arrested for kiddnapping but not found guilty of the muder. -

Rosa Parks quietly refused to give up her seat in segregated Montgomey to a white man. Her actions soon lead to a boycott that lasted 381 days into December 1956. The U.S. Supreme court ruled against the segregation law was unconstitutional. Therefore elimanting the segregation system. -

In Chicago Our Lady of Angels School 92 students and 3 nuns were killed. It was a main educational source for about 1,600 kids from the grades kindergarten to the 8th grade, A fire was started in the basement of the school whiched caused the high number of deaths. -
