Wedding Day
Jackie definitely wasn't going to down play her own wedding day. This particular dress is known as one of the most memorable bridal gowns of all time, and we don't disagree. The off the shoulder cap sleeves, and fitted waistline do nothing but execentuate her tiny figure. The ruffle detail that ran along the bottom of the dress was just enough detail for her that natural beauty did the rest. -
Lady in Red
Not only is red a power color, but Jackie totally owns it. She makes the color speak out. Presenting a silver pitcher to the Whtie House, Jackie wears one of her signature 3/4 sleeve jacket suits. The red tweed pops against her porcelain skin. She accessorizes with a set of bangles and three strands of white pearls. -
First Christmas in the White House
Jackie Kennedy celebrated the holiday season in a festive red knee length dress standing in front of the White House Christmas tree. She paired her 3/4 sleeve dress with a pair of classic black heels and her signature coiffed brunette 'do. But perhaps her best accessory of all is that of her male counterpart: John F. Kennedy. -
A Warm Welcome
The first lady wore a simple black and whtie dress for the opening of the newly renovated Treaty Room. Single simple stripes along the neckline and bottom hem give her the needed detail to support her simplistic style. -
Setting Sail for the Races
Aboard the U.S.S. Jospeh P. Kennedy Jr. on a bright and sunny day, Jackie admired the America's Cup races beside her husband. Staying true to the nautical theme, she wore a fitted navy blue skirt suit and low black heels. She tied a blue and cream colored scarf around her hair to keep it tame, topped off with a pair of black round sunglasses. -
Flawless in Floral
Perhaps one of the more daring outfits we have seen this classy lady in. She wore a long floral printed silk skirt with a matching cape to the theater to see "Mr. President." If there's one person who could pull off this dated print, it's Jackie. Anything she wears looks simple and elegant. -
Second Christmas in the White House
Almost one year later from the previously taken holiday photo, the Kennedy's brought confidence to the table this year. Staying true to tradition, Jackie donned another scarlet red knee lenth dress, but this time she ditched the sleeves and added a gold and emerald green necklace to jazz it up. To keep things a little more subtle, she kept with a black heel. But nothing about that trees says subtle. -
Welcoming the King in Style
The first lady welcomed the King of Morocco alongside the President. She covered up her rosette necklined blouse with a light peacoat. Atop her flawless locks, she wore a medium brimmed dark hat. But no Jackie ensemble would be complete without a pair of crisp white gloves. -
Mourning in PInk
The most infamous outfits of Jackie's for sure. No one will forget that bubble gum pink double breasted tweed jacket and pillbox hat. Her coat lapel lined in black and offset with her white gloves. If you think hard enough, you can almost picture her with that bouquet of flowers. -
President Kennedy's Funeral
Jackie bids her husband a sorrowful goodbye draped in all black. She wore a long black shift dress with black tights and black heels. She covered her hands and arms with black gloves. Hiding her face and the tears, a long black veil covered her porcelain skin.
