Tendai, Rita, and Kuda sneak out to take a scout trip traveling across the city to earn their explorer badges. -

Tendia, Rita, and Kuda are kidnapped when they run into a blue monkey and the two owners who kidnapped them -
Mrs. Matsika hires detectives
The kids parents find out that they have sneaked out and they cannot find them. They hire the Ear, the Eye, and the Arm detective agency to search for Tendai, Rita, and Kuda. -
The children are enslaved
Their kidnappers, Fist and Knife, take them to Dead Man's Vlei, There the She Elephant rules and she makes the children and the Vei People rummage through the wasteland in captive. -
Tendai finds a ndoro
While Tendai is in a well working for the She Elephant he finds a Ndoro which has great spiritual value. He prays with the Ndoro to his ancestors to help him escape, and they show him a way out. -
The Eye the Ear, and the arm find Dead Man's Vlei
The eye the ear and the arm take a bus to Dead Man's Vlei and find the She Elephant. She chases them down but they barely escape and Arm is badly injured when one of the Vlei peope bit him. -
Children escape
The Trashman helps the kids escae and takes them to the Resthaven -
Children cast out of the resthaven
The kids are thrown out of the Resthaven because their spirit medium decides that they do not belong. The children leave and stay at the mellowers mother's house for a while. -
The She Elephant finds the children
The She Elephant find the children at the mellower's mothers house, and take them to the place where they will meet the masks to buy the kids. -
Arm has a vision
The spirit of the Shona Mhondoro comes to Arm in a dream and tells him to go to the highest place and look down. -
Masks prepare sacrifice
The masks prepare Tendai to scrifice him to the Godwanna spirits in the Mile High Macilwein -
Children are Rescued
The detectives and staff and guests in the Starlight Room help rescue Tendai, Kuda, Rita, and destroying the mask .gang in the process -
Family reunited
General Matsika and Mother rush to the embassy and are reunited with their kids. They are a more loving and thankful of their family and live a happily ever after.
