In the 1980’s the portable phone began to be used by modern society. It was a house phone that allowed you to move freely around your home without the worry of cables or distance. -
Motorola DynaTAC 8000x
This phone was first released in 1984 at a price of $3.995 and was the first ever commercially available mobile phone. -
Motorola StarTAC
This was a huge hit in 1996 well it was the first ever flip phone and one of the most successful phones of that time having sold around 60 million of these and beginning the idea of small phones and easier mobility.
