The First Cell Phone Was created
The first cell phone was created and used April 3, 1973, by a Motorola employee named, Martin Cooper. The first phone's exterior was made out of plastic and had an antenna and plastic buttons to enter a number. There was also a speaker and battery on the inside. The prototype was very simple so it only had calling abilities and even no screen. The prototype itself was made by a group of engineers for Motorola in a period of six weeks.
