Development of the Daguerreotype Process - http://inventors.about.com/od/dstartinventions/a/Daguerreotype_3.htm
The Daguerreotype process was the first method of recording an image taken with a camera, although it was very intricate. It began with a silver coated copper plate being polished, then sharpened over iodine until it became a yellow-rose color. Then, the plate would be put in the camera and the light and developed over mercury until an image formed. It was put in sodium thiosulfate for enhancements and then toned with gold chloride. It could take up to 15 minutes making it sometimes impractical. -
Camera Portability
The reise camera was a wooden plate camera. It revolutionized photography because it was the actually truly portable, light weight camera. It was also very light because of the material used in the manufacturing of it, and it was very portable because of its ability to fold down into a smaller shape. Because of how much lighter it was to earlier models, it was very practical for people to take pictures on the go.

High End DSLRs (Current cameras)
DSLRs are Digital Single-Lens Reflex cameras. They combine single-lens reflex cameras with digital imaging sensors to create very advanced cameras. These cameras can offer excellent image quality and 4K video resolution in a very small form, smaller than we ever thought we would see in such remarkable cameras.
