In 1806, the first cars powered by an internal combustion engine running on fuel gas appeared, which led to the introduction in 1885 of the modern gasoline car. -
Gasoline
The year 1886 is regarded the year of birth of the modern automobile. Karl Benz craeted the first gasoline automobile powered by an internal combustion engine. It had three wheels. -
Tin Lizzie
The Model T was an automobile built by the Ford Motor Company in 1908. -
The Mini (Post-war)
Automobile design and production finally emerged from the military orientation and other shadow of war in 1949. Ex: The Mini — this small is one of the most famous cars of all time, it has a re-styled new version in the 21st century. -
Modern Era
Many technologies have been installed that have shaped modern automobiles, and many more innovations are yet to come. The most recent cars are being revealed to be released in years coming (ex: 2017 Mercedes Cabriolet). -
More to Come
The next step to evolution in automobiles is self-driving cars. Google, Ford, and other big companies have alreadyinvested alot of time and money into this innovation. Other countries, like China have also decided to move on to buses as well and they say that they will have self-driving buses on the road in 3 years. The cars have sensors designed to detect objects as far as two football fields away in all directions, including pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles to navigate the road safely.
