    In this timespan, habitants transformed from hominids to Homo sapiens.

    Fire was discovered! It was a great achievement, especially since you can get multiple uses out of it! Cooking, getting light and warmth were just the basics.

    Huts were made

    They started making little huts that served them as shelters. Their structure was very simple, mostly made out of sticks and mud.

    Neolithic

    In this timespan, farming and animal breeding started being used to gather food and other resources.

    It could be moved around easily, but more uses for it were discovered later.

    The Metal Ages were quite neat, as, you guessed it, metals started being used more.

    Writing, a very useful skill, was finally discovered! Though, it could only be used with stones and wood at the time.

    This invention was useful for cutting things like paper or cardboard!

    After the Neolithic, came The Old Age. Year 0 starts in this era.

    The Middle Ages

    This was a really good time for technology, as things as the printing press were invented.

    They could be used to give light without using fire or the Sun's light.

    They could be used to move around without walking or riding on something.

    It could be used to tell messages and play music.

    They were machines with a screen that could be used for working, typing, playing games, etc.
