    Invented in the 1920s, no specific year however, by Ohio janitor James Murray Spangler. He made it out of a soap box, a broom handle, a pillow case, and an electric motor. He then made more and sold them. This is one of the biggest inventions in human history as the vacuum cleaner is owned and used by almost if not every family, as well as companies. It is the most popular way that people can quickly clean their houses. The world would be alot different today without the vacuum cleaner.
  • Electric Blender

    Electric Blender
    Invented in 1922 by Polish-American Stephan Poplawski. He created it by wiring some small spinning blades to an electric motor. He then attached that into a clear glass container specially molded to hold them in shape. And that was the blender. This is an important invention because blenders allowed alot of stuff to be created like smoothes, slushies, and more. I could not imagine my life without the blender cause part of my daily diet and my favourite foods come from the blender.

    Invented in 1923 by Garrett Morgan in Cleveland, Ohio. This was an important invention because without traffic lights the roads would be a mess and there would be a lot of car accidents. The automatic traffic light was one of the most important, yet underrated inventions in human history. They are not usually appreciated but life without them would mean either not much car travel or dangerous car travel.

    Invented in 1930 in Germany by Hans von Ohain. Then in 1937, the invention was then passed on to Frank Wittle who lived in Great Britain. However even though it was invented and made in 1930, it was not used until 1941. This is an important invention because without jet engines planes would not be able to fly.

    The first dash mounted car radio was invented in the mid 1930s but no specific year. It was invented by the company Motorola. This was an important invention because car radios are used by almost everyone who owns a car

    Invented in 1942 by physics professor John Vincent Atanasoff and graduate student Clifford Berry. This was done at Iowa State University. This was an important invention because this opened up the whole age of the modern computer. Without this invention today we would not have such technology.)

    Invented in 1944 by John Logie Baird. He gave the world the first fully electronic colour television. This was a very important invention as this paved the way for more advanced televisions to be, as well as it let people see movies, people, and places they’ve never see in colour for the first time, and make television seem so much more real. This as a ground breaking invention in the 40’s.

    Invented on February 26th 1935. It was invented by Scottish physicist Robert Watson-Watt. He was looking for a reliable way to help airmen locate and avoid approaching thunderstorms. This is a very important invention because today without radars weather stations would not be a thing and we would not be able to check the weather because there wouldn’t be a way to know what weather is coming.

    (Invented in 1953 by Dr. David Warren of Aeronautical Research Lab. Although there is not much information out there about his invention, the flight recorder is heavily used in todays world. In just the last 4 decades alone, over 100,000 flight recorders have been installed in commercial aircrafts. The aviation world would have a missing piece of the puzzle today without the flight recorder.

    Invented in 1958 by Wilson Greatbatch. He was an Amercian electrical engineer. On top of this invention he also invented pace maker batteries, which were needed for his invention. This is an extremely important invention because the pacemaker is very important in the medical orld today, and it has saved and/or extended so many lives. It is literally a life saver. Without the pacemaker today, the medical world would be different, and not in a good way
  • Satellites

    (Invented on April 1st, 1960 by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). TIROS-1 was it’s name, and it was the first successful satellite. This is one of the most important inventions because satellites are so vital for so many things in todays world. They are necessary for telling weather and for so many important space things, and without it we would not be able to know when or if something is coming toward earth from space.

    Invented in the late 1960s (no specific year), by engineer Joseph Engleberger. The robot is also one of the biggest inventions ever, as today their entire companies and corporations run by robots, and robots helpfully replace humans in dangerous factories or work environments. They also are a big part of tech as their are robots in computers that are very helpful too. Without robots today the world would be a mega step behind and we would not be as advanced as we are.

    Invented in 1973 by the U.S. Department of Defense. This as a very good invention because without the GPS people would still ahve to buy a bunch of maps for everywhere they went and navigation would be very hard. The gps made navigation as easy as ever and changed the world big time.
  • Cell phone

    Invented on April 3rd 1973, by Motorola company executive and researcher Martin Cooper. He made the first mobile telephone call to his biggest rival, Dr. Joel S. Engel. This might be the biggest invention in human history, as this revolutionized human communication. Without the cell phone we wouldn’t be able to easy talk to people from anywhere, we would have to find a landline somewhere. Plus this also paved the way for the modern cell phone. Which changed history forever.

    Invented in 1982 by Sony and Phillips. The first CD system was a 12cm compact audio disc and cd player. This was a huge invention because it replaced the very popular vinyl record which almost everyone had, so then alot of people had to buy the cd and had one very quickly. This also changed the music world as it launched listening to music into a high tech wonder.

    Invented in 1983 by now one of the richest people in the world, Bill Gates. This invention was revolutionary as Microsoft Windows quickly became popular and was widely used for a very long time, and still is too this day. It also made Bill Gates a very rich man and the richest person in the world for periods of time.

    Invented in 1991 by Tim Berners-Lee. The intention of his invention was for people to share information. He made it so people would see documents clearly on screen without the need for downloading them. This is probably one of the biggest inventions ever as today the internet is basically everything in media. It completely changed research, communication, how people can access information, and basically made everything a lot easier. Without the internet today the world ould be missing so much.

    Invented on December 3rd 1992, when the first SMS text message that read “Merry Christmas”, was sent by Neil Paporth. He was a former developer at Sema Group Telecoms. This was an amazing invention as texting is used by almost everyone in the world today and is one of the main forms of communication. It is almost more common the calling, as it is easier to exchange short messages.
  • Bluetooth

    Invented in 2001 by Sony Entertainment. Bluetooth was the first ever way to connect devices wirelessly. This was a groundbreaking invention as this lead to being able to connect phones to speakers, and other devices. And today bluetooth allows for wireless headphones, huge speakers, airdrops from one device to another, and so many more amazing things. Without bluetooth today there would be no wireless headphones, no wireless speakers, and no way to connect really anything
  • Camera phones

    Invented in 2002, by separate companies Nokia and Sanyo. Those two companies both made separate, and the first ever phones that featured cameras. This invention took a huge leap and paved the way from cell phones to the modern phone. These phones became quickly popular.

    Self driving cars hit the roads in the 2010s. Although they are farely new to society, it is easy to tell that they will, and already have had a huge impact on the future. The impossible became possible. People became able to drive without actually driving. Cars have been made so smart that they are able to have all the real time thoughts and in the moment decisions of a human being behind the wheel.
