From 1919 to 1930, was known as the the vintage era for cars. The cars became narrower ,and the engines were begining to be put in front of cars. -
Pre-WWII era
During this era, fenders and headlights began to be put on cars. They also began making the cars with closed bodies which increased sales. -
Post-War era
In this era, they began using high -compression v8 engines. -
Muscel Car era
In this era, they began making high performance, 2 door vehicles. -
Modern era
In this era, manufacturers began trying trying to get more miles per gallon, and began making hybrids to cut down on pollution.
