The waterproof camera was made for underwater photography. A lot of people made LOTS of money by taking pictures underwater. This camera was used by hydrologists. (a person who studies the ocean or water) -

The Brownie Camera was a big change for the cameras. It looked like a giant radio from back in the 1950s. It was from the Kodak company, and it was a big sale, especially when it came from the company Kodak. Fun Fact: The name of the camera was named Brownie because of how popular children's books back then. They wanted to have a cute name because the camera was for all ages. -

The Canon Camera is really popular in 2019, especially for professional photographers. In 1937, The Canon Camera was released. It was pretty big back then since it was a new shape for the cameras. The canon camera changed the shape for all of the cameras that were invented before this one. -

The Instant camera, which we know as the Polaroid camera went BIG back then. We still use them today, but they look a LOT different. Once the picture was taken, the photo would come out of the thing that looks like a CD. -

The first auto focus camera was pretty expensive back then since it was a auto focus camera. You know how sometimes your camera from a device goes blurry but then normal again? thats what this camera does. The cameras before this camera was not auto focus. People who used the cameras had to focus them themselves. -
The Worlds first Digital Camera
The worlds first digital camera weighed eight pounds. It was pretty heavy since it was made with a little bit of medal. It was not as popular as the other cameras, but it was a very interesting camera. -
The Fuji Quicksnap
The Fuji Quicksnap was made by a company called Fujiflim. The camera went BIG. Fujifilm as sold over ONE MILLION Quicksnaps and became a worldwide hit. It took beautiful photos and was a amazing price. -

This phone was the first phone to come out with a camera, EVER. Sadly, the phone could only hold up to 20 pictures. -
The GoPro
The GoPro was made for taking videos when traveling, or hiking, or doing something active. -
Now
So many cameras have been made, there are copies of the same design, more companies have been made, and more. Maybe cameras will change a lot in the future, who knows?
