He believed in the rights of the American people so, he made a bill to make the rights true and safe.

Since the War caused many losses the British decided to raise taxes on American people because of the war. Which the Americans were not ok with, and started to fight back and protest against it.

The laws and the taxes that were put in to see how long they could take control for.

There was a tax that was put into place on goods like tea. The American people got more outraged. The people got mad and threw all the tea off the ship and the event was called the Boston Tea Party. The taxes and goods had a huge effect on trade with other countries and merchant traders.
