  • Indian Removal Act

    It was passed by andrew Jackson and it consisted of which southeastern tribes were to relocate land west of the mississippi river.

  • The Trail of Tears

    Natives had traveled over 5000 miles to what is now known as Oklahoma and in the way many died because of harsh weather, sicknesses, starving till death, and exhaustion.

  • The Civil War

    Differences between the north (free states) & south (slave states) were the cause of the Civil War that lasted four years.

  • The Reconstruction Treaties

    The Americans reconstructed the Natives homes.

  • The Dawes Act

    Land was divided and sold

  • The Oklahoma Land Rush

    Americans were rushing to own land.

  • The Indian Reorganization Act

    The indians were forced to be white washed.
