    The Austrian Anschluss
    Hitler threatened to invade Austria if the Austrian government refuse Austrian nazi to hold a government position. Austria’s chancellor gave in to the demand and put it to a democratic vote. Hitler feared the results and invade Austria and announced the Anschluss. Which is the annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany.
  • The Munich Conference

    The Munich Conference
    Representatives from France, Britain, Italy, and Germany decide to meet up in Munich Germany to discuss the fate of Czechoslovakia. To avoid another world war, British and France agreed to Hitler’s appeasement. This left Czech to either fight Germany without aid or obey Hitler’s demands
  • Hitler demands Danzig

    Hitler demands Danzig
    Hitler demands that the city of Danzig be brought back into German control. Even though Danzig has been in Poland control since World War 1. Hitler also wants a highway and a railroad to be constructed on the polish corridor. This demand convinced that war is inevitable and British announced if polish get invaded then they will go to war with Germany.

    Hitler sends his foreign minister to negotiate a pact with the USSR because he didn't want to go to war with France, British and the Soviets. Stalin does agree to the nonaggression treaty. Stalin agrees to this because he thought he would protect his country if the capitalist countries go to war amongst each other, but also the soviet will get half of Poland when Germany capture it. This causes many controversies because communism and Nazism completely opposed each other.
  • The Invasion of Poland

    The Invasion of Poland
    Germany invades Poland and two days later British and France declare a war on Germany. This led to the start of World War 2. Poland outdated military was no match for the German modern and technologized military. The German use a new type of warfare known as the Blitzkrieg, which a lot of tanks to break enemy lines and also drop bombs via aircraft to support the tanks advancement.
  • The Fall of France

    The Fall of France
    The British sent troops to France to defend the Maginot line from the German attack. Instead of risking the life of there soldier, the French decide to defend behind the Maginot line. Knowing this Hitler invades Netherland, Belgium, and Luxembourg. As soon as the invasion started, British send troops to the Belgium border but German main attack was from the Ardennes mountain in Luxembourg. Germans tanks soon broke through the French lines and French will soon surrender.
  • The Miracle at Dunkirk

    The Miracle at Dunkirk
    After the Germans trapped the allied force in Belgium. The only escape for the allied troops was by sea and the only port that not controlled by German was the one in Dunkirk. German soon stop there advancing to Dunkirk for an unknow reason. This three-day delay allowed 850 ships to come and evacuate the remaining soldiers. This evacuation saved about 338,000 allied forces, but this had a huge concuss because many of their supplies were left at Dunkirk.
  • The Battle of Britain

    The Battle of Britain
    Hitler soon prepared his invasion of British but he knew cross the English Channel will be difficult because lack of German ships and the Royal Air force will destroy any ship trying to enter England. The only way to invade British was defeating the British Royal force. The German air force started to attack British shipping in the English channel with the Luftwaffe. In mid- August, a all out air battle happen against the british Royal air force and the Luftwaffe know as the Battle of Britain.
