Verona trial
This trial was a main event during WW2. It was held by the Italian Social Republic to punish the leader of the Grand Council of Fascism. It occurred following the allied invasion of Sicily. The trialed people were the ones who committed the «crime» of voting for Benito Mussolini's removal from power. After the trial, 5 people were executed, shot the following day, january 11th 1944. The trial started January 8th and ended january 10th 1944. -

This battle opposed Canada, United-States, and United Kingdom with Germany and Italian Social Republic. The battle lasted 136 days, starting January 22nd, 1944, and ending June 5th of the same year. It was an allied victory. This battle was located in Anzio and Nettuno. -

The hospital ship St-David was bombed and sunk. It wa sunk by a german aircraft. 25 miles away south from Anzio, Italy. 96 people died on that ship. This boat came from United Kingdom. It was one of the 5 military boats that commended service during the first month of war. -

This battle was located in Cherkassy / Korsun in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. This battle was only the Soviet Union against the Germans. The soviets successfully won. It ended within 3 weeks and 2 days, starting January 24 1994 and ending February 16 of the same year.
