South Australia is established
It was never a convict colony but rather a place where immigrants lived. Some escaped convicts lived in the area as well as some ex-convicts moved there from other colonies. -
Victoria is established
After separation from New South Wales, Victoria became its own province. -
Queensland is established
After its separation from New South Wales, Queensland became its own province. On 23 December 1862 the area of Queensland was expanded. -
