    Darla Expressing Herself
    Darla (age 2) was drawing on the wall with her crayons of the house again. Even though Mark (Darla's father age 24) had told her not to. Upset Mark snatched the crayons from Darla hands and threw them away in the trash. In the second stage, autonomy vs shame and doubt, Darla is trying to make her own choices by expressing herself through drawing. However, mark dislikes the expression and instead instiling shame and doubt within Darla sense of self.

    Darla has a plan
    Darla (age 5) arriving at the zoo with her farther (Mark age 26) and Mother (Deena age 24) excitingly said she wanted to see the lions, tiger, and bears first. However, her parents instead hushed her and said they were going to the aquarium first. In Erikson's third stage, initiative vs guilt, Darla joyfully wanted to see her favorite animals first by constructing a plan to see them in order. Her parents instead hushed her initiative away and asserted their plan instead.

    Darla's Room
    Darla (age 15) siting at her desk in her room, looked around then gazed at her reflection in the mirror. Thinking, the furniture, paint color, and the whole style of it, held no resemblance to her. Darla then contemplated about if she had the option to change it, what would she change and struggles to think what she even likes. In Erikson fifth stage, identity vs identity confusion, Darla is realizing that her room has no relation to her identity and have hard time thinking of ideas
