Rev Hale arrives at the Proctor's house, with others, upon stepping inside Rev Hale asks Elizabeth if she has any poppets. Event 5: Abigail Stabs Herself
After Abigail sees Mary with the poppet, she decides to stab herself with a needle to make it look like Elizabeth sent her spirit onto Abigail. Event 6: Courtroom Scare
After many people are accused, Abigail and others girls are taken into the courtroom with John and Elizabeth Proctor. After Mary tells who made the poppet, Abigail and the other girls think Mary Warren is trying to curse them with witchcraft, so she starts seeing a yellow light and mimics Mary. -
Event 7: Proctor Confesses Affair
Elizabeth is taken away to jail, so Proctor decides to attempt to help her, so he goes to court to confess his affair with Abigail. When Elizabeth is called in, she denies Proctors confession, Proctor said about Abigail, "I have known her, sir. I have known her." (Loc -
Event 8: John Confesses He Saw The Devil
Proctor confesses to Putnam that he saw the devil. After confessing he agrees to sign a legal document for the people of the church to see that he was sentenced to witchcraft. Event 9: Proctor Changes The Story
After Proctor signs the document, he takes back his confession and rips up the paper. -
Event 10: Proctors Death
Proctor, Rebecca Nurse, and Martha Corey are sentenced to be hung. As they wait, they begin saying a prayer, just before John finishes the prayer, he is hung.
