Abigail stuck herself with a needle but made it seems like is was a spell or something. Hale is looking around Elizabeth house to see if there are any poppets in the house. They found a doll but Mary give it to her.

They take Elizabeth Proctor to jail because of the needle in the doll and the needle that Abigail stuck herself with. John Proctors goes o court to help his wife. So, he told the truth about the affair with Abigail.

Elizabeth came in and was asked about the affair. Nut she lied thinking she was helping her husband. Not knowing that he already to them. Which made the situation worst then what it would of been if she told the truth.

Mary Warren tells the courthpuse that shes the one that actually made the poppet for Elizebeth. Mary also states that the girls are only pretending to be under a spell.

Hale is trying to get the people in jail to confess to their crime. If you don't confess they can hang you. Mercy Lewis and Abigail run away. And also, stole his life savings.

John Proctor signed the paper saying he never saw anyone with the devil. Then said he did see people with the devil, but never said no names. He was sentenced to hang because he didn't say any names.

John was sentenced to witchcraft. John Proctor had a option to a sign a paper and tell everybody that he cheated on Elizabeth or get hung. He picked getting hung over signing a paper sating he cheated on her.
