Yalta Conference
Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill, and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt agreed to meet after the surrender to Germany to determine the postwar borders in Europe. -
Potsdam Conference
This was a meeting between US, British, and Soviet leaders after World War II to talk about dividing Germany and Austria into 4 zones. -

This was the first bomb that the US dropped on Japan's big city to give a warning and sign to surrender, but Japan didn't. -

This was a Hungarian protest against Communist rule in Budapest at first, but it became a momentum quickly and on 24th October Soviet tanks entered Budapest. and made a new government that formed an introduction to democracy, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. -

British and French force invaded Egypt to regain control of the Suez Canal which had been nationalized by the Egyptian leader Nasser. -

Soviet Union wanted Berlin to be a permanent ‘Free City’ with minimum military branches from other powers, and also wanted a Peace Treaty with East Germany.
