US cinemas were using movies as another way to create the communist enemy.

The United states created a policy known as the cold war policy it prevents the US and its allies the spread of communism. The US used their military force to get communism expansion anywhere it was at.This policy was a response to the moves Soviet Union was making to increase communist influence in Eastern Europe, China, Korea, Africa, and Vietnam.

    The Arms race began right after the world war II. at the very first the US was the only nuclear power. By 1949, the soviet union had also developed nuclear weapons. By 1953 both sides had developed hydrogen bombs which were more destructive than atomic bombs. It was said that if they continued that a nuclear war would destroy both sides. Yet they launched their weapons.The result was called a ''balance of terror''which means one side if launched would destroy itself. In 1968 nations signed NPT.

    VE day also known as victory in europe day. This day meant the end of almost six years of war, that war cost thousands and maybe even millions of lives, it destroyed families, homes. When Hitler committed suicide on april, the germans had no choice but to surrender. The german president of that time Dönitz ended war with all Germany's allies. Although surrendering was not a surprise to Britain, the news was kinda rumored for a while. When news was announced they made the date official.

The official purpose of this Berlin Wall was to keep Western “fascists” from entering East German.The Berlin Wall stood there until November 9, 1989, when the head of the East German Communist Party announced that citizens of the GDR could cross the border whenever they pleased.
