    At 1:49 Miss Martindale claimed that a Miss Pebmarsh of 19 Willbriham cresent called for a typer to come to her house at three O'clock and come inside if she wasn't there yet. She specifically asked for Shiela Webb.

    Colin and Hardcastle question miss Martindale
    Colin Lamb, who is a dectective, who was there when Sheila discovered the body, and Inspector Hardcastle, who is a local detective, started thier questioning by talking to Miss Martindale. She told them that she recieved a call at 1:49 from Miss Pebmarsh of 19 Willbraham Cresent requesting Sheila.

    Victim is found dead
    Sheila Webb, by request, went to 19 Wilbraham Cresent at three O'clock. Also by request she went into the house because Miss Pebmarsh had not arrived yet. She discovered a man dead on the floor inside. It appeared he had been stabbed. At that point Sheila was so frightened that she ran outside screaming where she met Colin Lamb who was walking by.

    The day after the murder, Inspector Hardcastle and Colin went to question the neighbors for any information. They were hoping that they would of seen something, heard something, or give anything that could be used. The neighbors they questioned included Mr. and Mrs. Waterhouse of 18 Willbraham Cresent, Mrs. Hemming of 20 Willbraham Cresent, Mr. and Mrs. Bland of 61 Willbraham Cresent, Mrs. Ramsay of 62 Willbraham Cresent, and the McNaughtons of 63 Willbraham Cresent.

    Colin leaves for London by train on the 12th at ten P.M. He needs to meet with his boss about the Larkin case.

    Detective Colin Lamb went to London. While he was there he visited with his boss on the other case he was working on. This case was the Larkin case which involved a man named Larkin operating a illegal information passing buisness. The operation was very well planned out, and Colin was trying to crack it. He beilieved that there must be a head quarters. He had gotten a lead and was now following that.

    There was an inquest for the murder. Everyone involved presented their evidence. Also, a doctor told the aproximated time of death (which was about one thirty) and the way he died (which was by first being druged to fall asleep and then being stabbed).

    Inspector Hardcastle got a call a little after two about how Edna Brent, the receptionist at the Typing Buereu, was found dead in a call box in Willbraham Cresent. Edna was discovered by Miss Waterhouse. At the inquest she had wanted to talk to Inspector Hardcastle about something that was bothering her.

    Colin was very stumped with the murder case at Willbraham Cresent, so, while in London, he visited Hercule Poirot for some answers. Hecule said that this case reminded him of something else that he had seen before. Hercule requested that Colin should talk with the neighbors again just to see if he had missed anything.

    So far, the victim had not been identified yet. However, on the 20th, a woman named Mrs. Rival responded to a newspaper article and said that the dead man was her husband who she hadn't seen for about 15 years. She identified him as Harry Castleton.

    On the 20th, while in London, Colin meets with Hercule Poirot to see if he has made any progress on the case. He has made progress, but has not solved the entire case yet.

    Colin talks to a neighbor who he didn't think of talking to before. He learns some valuable information about a laundry truck that the neighbor saw that helps him make progress on the murder case.

    Merlina Rival, the woman who informed the poilce that the victim of the murder was her husband, was found dead in a train station a 6:30 pm. She had been stabbed in the crowd. Just days before she had been confronted by Inspector Hardcastle about lying about knowing the victim. Was the victim Merlina's husband or not?

    On the twenty-first, Colin confronts Sheila about taking one of the clocks at the crime scene. Does this mean that she might be lying about not being the murder? Colin still believes that she isn't the murderer.

    Colin finally finds the headquarters for the other case he was working on called the Larkin case. Suprisingly, the HQ was closer than he thought.
