The clarinet mouth piece has the reed and it creates the tone.It is usually made of hard rubber,plastic,glass,or crystal, and sometimes metal. The reed is fixed onto the mouth piece with a ligature that uses screws.The barrel-usually the instrument comes with two. One that is a little shorter and one that is a little longer.
