The Indian Removal Act was signed by Andrew Jackson, allowing The President to trade lands with the Indians and move them west. some of the Indians went consentingly and others denied. -
The Trail of Tears
After the Indian Removal Act, the Indians were forced out of there homes and many died. The reason it was called the Trail of Tears was because the people that died, their family was sad and cried. -
The Civil War
The Civil War was a War between The Union army and The Confederate army. This happened because The Union was trying to get rid of slaves, but the south didn't like that so they became the Confederate States of America, and had a war with The Union. -

The Dawes Act
The Dawes Act allowed the Government to break up land owned by tribes and sell it to individuals. -
The Oklahoma Land Rush
There was 2 million acres of land and an estimate of 50,000 people lined up trying to get some. -
The Indian Reorganization
This act returned the land to the tribes from the Dawes act.
