The Mogul Empire
The Mogul Empire was invaded in the 1500s by a man named Babar. The Moguls eventually took over most of northern India. One of the most influentian emporers was Shah Jahan he expanded the empire immenesly. -
The British Gain Dominance
In the 1720s the Mogul empire collapsed. Other groups in India were competing for power, so they formed alliences to take down the mogul empire, and while this was all going on a man named Gandhi was trying to stop this. -
Violence During Sepoy Mutiny
On March 29 1857 a man named Mangal fired off his first shot. He shot British sergeant-major and a lieutenan, which caused him to get surrounded by British troops and get shot in the chest. Although he got shot in the chest he survived, but was later put on trial and lynched April 8 1857 -
The British Spill Over
A group called Sepoys went against their British commanders because their rifle bullets were covered with pig and cow fat thus making them unusable for both muslim and hindu soldiers because of their religion. -
End of the British Company
Noone in the British group was able to establish control which which ended up in them getting captured and killed on spot and in a dramatic fashion.
