Tom wanted to keep the baseball field, but Doc was going to sell the land. So Doc offered a challlenge for the Dillontown Wildcats to play a club team in a baseball game. Then if the Wildcats win, they would get to keep the field. If they lose, the field would be bulldozed. -
Chapter Two
Tom wanted to win the baseball game, but his team didn't have enought players. So Tom wanted to quit the team. Then Cruz dela Cruz rode into the baseball camp. -
Chapter Three
Cruz wanted to join a baseball camp, but there were no camps near Paloma. So he searched the internet and found the Dillontown baseball camp. Then he wanted to meet Dante Del Gato. -
Chapter 4
Cruz wanted to meet Del Gato, but other players tell him stories to scare Cruz. So they prepared the field for practice, then practiced hitting. -
Chapter Five
Townspeople of Dillontown wanted Mr. Gallagher NOT to coach the team, but Mr. Gallagher refused to back down. So the team all met Mr. Gallagher on the field. Then Cruz asked Tom to take him to Del Gato's in the dark. -
Chapter Six
Cruz wanted to know about the prophecy, but Tom and the other players didn't want to talk about it. So they told him about some of the legends. Then Cruz believed them.
