Mountains of Ithica
The heroes had to climb the mountains of Ithica in order to gain information about the enemies and what traps they've laid for them in their quest -
Jason's mother
In order for Gaea to wake up, she needs two of the heroes to join her side so she can spill their blood to actually wake up. Strange concept, but it does almost work. The emotion of finally seeing his mother almost causes him to cave in. His friends helped him out and they got out alive. -
Reyna's dreams
In Reyna's dreams, and because demigods have dreams of the future or what's happening in present somewhere, she sees that the two camps where demigods live were going to war against each other. -
Attacked by Wolves
While Reyna and her crew were traveling to transport the most valuable cargo ever, they were attacked by a group of wolves and their leader. While running she learns she can transfer her powers from herself to her crew so they can have the energy to teleport one more time. -
The Heroes meet Nike
The Gods are split between who to root for in the two camps, because each has their own personality for the two camps. A Greek side and a Roman side. Gaea is taking full advantage of this and is striking at this perfect time. In order for them to achieve victory, they actually need the goddess of victory on their side. After meeting her, she decides she wants to kill them all. So instead of agreeing with her, they capture her so she can be useful at the right time. -
Ancient Sparta
In this location, Piper and Annabeth had to fight off a giant. These are more of Gaea's children, and cannot be killed without a god's help. So, they managed to kill him, this mean that the gods were indeed on their side. They also realized that they are actually an incredible tag team, which really helps them out later. -
Reyna's hometown
This is where Reyna met Jason's sister, as well as her own sister. She really needed their help to defeat Gaea, but one of Gaea's children had come to kill her as well as the incredibly important cargo. The son was called Orion, one of the most skilled hunters to ever exist. They do manage to get past him, and assure the sister help, but just barely. -
Reyna's house
This was Reyna's biggest fear, having to go back to her old home she has left because of how cruel it was. But, when running away from Gaea's son, she happened to see it, as well as her whole family as ghosts -
Insane Storm
During the voyage, the crew came up to a storm that almost entirely shattered the entire ship, if it wasn't for Percy maintaining it, as he is the son of the sea god. -
Jason's promise
Jason promised to put shrines up for every single minor god that wasn't being worshipped in both camps. This saved a lot of hassle in the future because there was no more need to worry about the minor gods unleashing their wrath onto the heroes. -
Apollo
In a prophecy that was told long ago, it was said that at the end of this quest one of the heroes would die. And in order to get information about how to revive someone that has died, they had to ask the god of medicine, who is Apollo. Apollo instead decided he would rather kill the heroes, so Leo though of a plan to trick and find out where to get the medicine. This plan worked, and they knew how they would revive somebody -
The infamous doctor
Apollo's directions led them to the doctor that could cure anything, or even just look at you and see the symptoms and treatments. Zeus had told him that if he ever helped anybody he would be punished but because of his nature to help any of his patients he gave the heroes the reviving medicine without a second thought. This helps them make sure no one would die on the trip -
Small war
Again in the middle of the enemy territory, and surrounded by giants, the heroes looked like they would meet their match. Until the gods finally decide they would be able to help the heroes. They join the battle, defeat the giant king and take back the ancient land. Except for the part that Gaea finally woke up so the main threat wasn't nearly over. -
Defeating Gaea
After hundreds of years of her being on the brink of waking up, all the heroes combined had what it takes to take Gaea down. Sure they weren't able to kill her, just lull her back to sleep for another millennium, but the threat was gone for a while. -
Leo's death
Leo did in fact die, but the dragon he created was able to give him the medicine that could bring him back to life. In fact, earlier he had made a promise to a girl to save her from her banishment, and he even went and did that while every one of his friends thought he was dead.He was also the sole reason they were able to defeat Gaea.
