Third Amendment
States that soliders can not reside in a home without the owners consent. -
First Amendment
Makes it illegal to stop people from having freedom of speech, religious freedoms, freedom of press, freedom to protest, and freedom to assemle. -
Second Amendment
States that people have a right to keep and bear arms. -
Fourth Amendment
This amendment prevents and protects people from being searched for no reason or without permission from the courts. -
Sixith Amendment
This amendment makes it possible for a speedy, and public trial. -
Seventh Amendment
This amendment allows a citizen who has been accused to a fair jury, right to a lawyer, and the right to get on the stand. -
Eighth Amendment
This amendment protects citizens from unfair or cruel punishments, and no enormously large fines placed on an individual. -
Ninth Ammendment
This ammendment says there maybe some rights not specified in the constitution but that doesn't mean they can be violated. -
Tenth Amendment
This last amendment in the bill of rights says that any power not given to the federal government it is given to the people and or the states. -
Fifth Amendment
This amendment protects you from being held responsible with a crime if your are not correctly or formally accused by the police. Also if a person serves time for his or her crime they can not be put back on trial for the crime.
