The first time the Beatles had a recording session where they recorded 4 songs, including "Love Me Do", one of their very famous singles. Though George Martin, the record producer, did the love the Beatles, after a while, he gave in and signed them. This caused them to record "Love Me Do" again, which was their hit debut single that brought them to fame.

She Loves You Release
She Loves You was the fourth single the Beatles released. It was one of the fastest selling singles in the world, and was their first single that surpassed 1 million copies. It sold 1.9 million copies in total, which made it the best selling single in 1963, and caused the Beatles to be even more famous than they already were.

2 days after The Beatles arrived in America for the first time, they performed their first live US television performance at the Ed Sullivan Show. Ed Sullivan was one of the most famous talk show hosts during that time, and almost everybody watched his show every week. This was a major turning point, as this performance brought tons of publicity and attention to The Beatles and made them skyrocket to fame in America. -

There is not one accurate date on when Beatlemania started, but when it did, the whole wrold changed. Boys started to get mop-top haircuts that resembled the members of the Beatles. Before the Beatles came into the scene, America had recently lost President Kennedy. Citizens thought that they did not have enough freedom and wanted something different, and the Beatles were exactly that.

Can't Buy Me Love was one of The Beatles' singles from their upcoming album. The short term effects were that when it was released, it immediately went to #1, which meant that all the top 5 spaces on the billboard chart were filled by the Beatles. A Hard Day's Night was released on July 10th 1964. When it was released in the UK, it was #1 in the billboard charts. When it was released in America, it was #1for 14 weeks, the longest time for any album in 1964.This album had many long-term effects. This album influenced folk singers to incorporate rock into their music, sparking the period of folk-rock music. The Beatles' success also let America focus on other British bands, like the Rolling Stones. -
