    The battle of Bunker Hill was fought on Breeds Hill. On June 17, 1775 about 2,000 soldiers from British carried heavy packs, up Breeds Hill. The American had very little ammunition. They could not waste a single bullet. Although most of the war took place on Breeds Hill, it later became known as The Battle of Bunker Hill. More than 1,000 British soldiers were killed or wounded. The American only suffered about 400 soldiers killed or wounded. The commanders were Great Britain-Sir William Howe.

The generals were General Washington commanded the Americans and lieutenant General De Rochambeau commanded the French and major General Lord Cornwallis commanded the British. We had the most people of 8,800 people and then it was French with 7,800 and then it was the British had 6,000 people.
