Hitler announces an Anshuluss Austria. Hitler wanted all German speaking countries to be a part of Germany. So he wanted his homeland (Austria) to be a part of one big country. The Austrian Chancellor refused, so Hitler told the Nazi party to overthrow the government in Austria. -
Hitler Demands Danzig
This conflict between Germany and Poland was about Germany wanting "Danzig" which was a part of Poland and Germany but Poland refused Germany to take it all to it self. Hitler attacks Danzig on August 1939. -
