The First Continental Congress voted to ban all trade with Britain, and start training troops which started the war. The midnight ride of Paul Revere
British soldiers are assigned to arrest John Hancock and Sam Addams and destroy hidden ammunition. But, the Sons Of Liberty were ready to stop this. The Sons Of Liberty sent Paul Revere to send the message to Lexington and Concord, by doing this, American troops will be ready to stop the British. Battle Of Saratoga
Burgoyne's and troops meet American troops in a built up earthen walls fort at Bemis Heights on the way to Albany. Benedict Arnold the general of the American troops leading the Freeman's farm battle, charged like a madman into battle. Burgoyne eventually surrendered. Going for fort Sackville
George Rogers Clark and his troops waded through the deep, muddy, icy, water to take Fort Sackville. Clark and his troops took the British by surprise. Clark and his men decided to execute the native Americans, as a result, the British surrendered . Battle of Camden
Gate and his troops ran into British forces, to make this scenario worse, Gates and his troops were in no condition to fight. Gates also made the mistake of putting troops on the front line, causing Gates and his army to flee. But Marion's force used guerrilla tactics to save the soldiers held prisoner. Battle of Yorkton
General Cornwallis set up his base in Yorktown, a town near the Chesapeake bay. Washington saw this as a golden opportunity. Since the British were getting supplies from ships, Washington ordered a French fleet of ships to trap the British. Washington, Rochambeau and their armies went south to get to Yorktown.
