General Burgoyne got a victory over the colonist on September 19, he attacked again on October 7 but lost that time and had to retreat. Outcome: British won then lost to the Patriots. -

Commander Clark leads American forces marching and forced the British to surrender the fort. Outcome: Americans win they sent a flag of truce and asked Colonel Hamilton to surrender. -

General Lincoln surrenders Charleston and 4650 soldiers to General Clinton. Outcome: British won and was the Americans worst defeat in the revolution. -

Lost many British troops during the battle. He left for Virginia with his army. Outcome: British won but lost many soldiers in battle. -
Battle of Yorktown
The last battle of the Revolutionary War, General Washington fighting for three weeks not stopping then General Cornwallis surrendered. Outcome: Americans win and peace negotiations , the Treaty of Paris, United States became a free country.
