    After winning the French and indian wars British goverment wanted to avoid any war with Native trives and didn't allowed colonist to stablish on the western side.
  • Quarting Act

    Act that allowed British soldiers to stablish in barracks or houses provided by colonist with out asking. New York came up with the Restraining Act, to refused the Quarting act.
  • Stamp act

    This led to the creation of a Congress to protest. British taxed every piece of printed paper.
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    It was a series of taxes imported into colonies.Colonist saw this as an abuse of power and led to a limit imports from Britain.
  • Boston Massacre

    British soldiers attack a mob of drunk, mad colonist 3 were kill on the spot and 5 others died later. Colonist saw this as a bloody act but it was really a miss understanding.
  • Boston Tea party

    High taxes on tea made Boston destroy tea as a political protest.

    A series of laws by the Brithis goverment in response of the Boston tea party.This started a revolutionary spirit in most colonist.

    Every colony send a person to Pennsylvania to represent the colony and come up with a way to stop the British goverment and their acts.
  • Lexington and Concord

    Lexington and Concord
    British general secret plan to capture colonial leaders in Lexington and take gun powder in Concord. Paul Revere went out and warn the militias.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
    British army defeated inexperienced colonists. The battle gave confidance to colonist.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    Battle of Saratoga
    France join forces with the colonist. This was the turning point in the revolution.

    It was the final show down where American troops gain full victury.
