Navigation Acts
The Acts required all trades between England and the colonies have to be sent on colonial ships. -
French and Indian War ended
The War ended with the Treaty of Paris. The war gave Britain a lot of land from North America. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act helped fix financial debt after the seven years war. This put a more taxes on the colonists. -
Boston Massacre
A simple man vs. man fight turned into a bloody mass murder. This worsened the relations between the colonists and the British troops. -
Tea Act
The Act gave the British East Indian Company a monopoly on tea. This gave Britain all the power of tea. The colonist did not like that. -
Boston Tea Party
American threw ship loads of tea of British ships. This added causes for war. -
The intolerable Acts
They set laws punishing colonists for rebelling during the Boston Tea Party. It caused the colonists to act out more. This makes the King made. -
Frist Continental Congress
The colonies except Georgia got together to put together the resistance to Parliament’s Coercive Acts because of the Boston Tea Party. -
Lexington and Concord
This was the Frist win and fight for Americans. -
Second Continental Congress
Was one of the first big meeting after the war started. They discussed the creation of the Continental army. -
Declaration of Independence
It is a series of essays formally saying that the colonists are leaving the Britain rule. -

The battle gave a big win to the Americans. The Americans attacked the British killing British General Simon Taser. -

George Washington lead the army through the winter. Hundreds died from disease killing a lot of the army’s population. -

This was the last battle of the Revolutionary War. It started the new independence. -
U.S. Constitution written
It is a paper that states laws and regulations that must be followed by U.S. citizens. It defines how American society works. -
The constitution was adopted
American leaders got together and signed the document. This set up the government to have equal power.
