    Also known as the 7 year war, a war between the british and the french. After the war the british were seriously in debt with bankers and started taxing the colonies leading to them believing in the no taxation without representation.

    It was issued by the British crown when the french and indian war had ended. It set territorial limits on where European colonists could settle in America.

    It was a law passed to stop the trade and smuggling of sugar and molasses, providing funds to the British army. It was important becouse it increased the colonists concerns about taxation and fueled the movement of the revolution.

    The British taxed all paper goods in the colonies. This event is important because it sparked the idea of no taxation without representation in the colonies.

    Parliament wanted to show their authority to the colonies and passeda legislation which would tax Americans on goods that came from britain. Americans started boycotting the goods that were subject to taxation.

    British troops had gotten to boston to enforce the Townshend duties. The locals didn't like them being their and started fights in the streets, which led to the occurrence of the Boston Massacre

    It was the first bloodshed that the colonists started and caused the redcoats to fire back. It was used as propaganda to make people want to fight the british.

    It was one of the solution Britain found to try to pay off their debt. The colonists didn't like this which led to the dumping of the tea in the boston harbor leading to the boston tea party.

    The colonists dumped thousands of craits in the boston harbor. They did this to boycott drinking tea becouse they didn't want to pay taxes to the british.

    Britain decided to deal with the rebellious acts of the americans by creating and passing the Intolerable acts. In America they were perceived as being so cruel and severe.

    They had discovered he was holding incriminating documents, then his execution was quickly ordered for the next morning. Before he was executed he said these words,“I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country.”

    It was what had started the American revolution. It had given the americans motivation to get up and fight for independence.

    The battle was mostly fought on the neighboring hill called Breed's Hill, was lost to the british. This was important becouse they had lost hundreds of soldiers and several officers which fuelled their confidence to battle britain.

    An anonymous pamphlet who targeted the parlement. This attracted public support for the revolution and it put the rebellions leaders under pressure of having to declare independence.

    During the american revolution George washington crossed the delaware with 5,400 troops. He wanted to surprise a Hassian force in Trenton, New Jersey.

    The winter at valley forge was a cold harsh winter, with very little supplies. It was important because it is when they trained the men to fight like real soldiers.

    General Lord Charles Cornwallis and his army had landed in a trap by General George Washington. Seeing he would not be able to win he surrendered ending the war.
  • Treaty of Paris

    It had formally ended the American Revolutionary War. In the treaty the British had formally accepted the American Independence.
