Townshend Act of 1767
Townshend Act of 1767 was a time when they began doing taxes for things like glass, lead, paint, tea, and paper. It lasted from 1766 to 1767 and they did this as a way to help pay expenses involved in governing american colonies. -

The Boston Massacre was a confrontation in Boston where nine british soldiers shot many people in a huge crowd because they were harassing them. And that got a whole colony mad since 5 died and 6 were wounded. -

The Battle of Bunker Hill was a battle during the siege of Boston on and it was during the first stage of the American Revolutionary War. It only lasted 2 hours and less then 1,200 British died but they came out winning. -

The Battle of Yorktown known as the surrender at Yorktown and what happened was the british troops surrendered to the continental army and also their french allies. It only lasted 3 weeks and after the war they negotiated peace. -

The Treaty of Paris was signed by the US and the British representatives to end the war of the American Revolution. This granted the US a good amount of western territory. -
Constitutional Convention
The Constitutional Convention was a convention of delegates from every state except 3 and what happened was to find a solution for the problems the young countries had. So they set aside the articles of confederation and they wrote a new constitution. -
Great Compromise
The Great Compromise was an agreement to provide a dual system of a congressional representation it reached the Constitutional Convention in 1787. It also defined the legislative structure.
