Representatives from 13 colonies showed up. Georgia did not show up. They met in Philadelphia. -
Second Continental Congress meets
They met inside of the Independence Hall. They appointed George Washington to be in charge of the army. -
Olive Branch Petition sent to England
This was made to prevent war from being declared. The petition showed that they were loyal to the British Crown. -
Battle of Trenton
First victory that the colonial had in awhile. They fought against the British force and Hessian. -
Battle of Camden
Worst American loss. More than 900 Americans died. -

This is a convention where all states met up in Philadelphia. Rhode Island did not attend this convention. They wanted to revise the articles of confederation. -

This was an agreement during the Constitutional Convention. This allowed each state to have 2 representative. -
