Napoleon is born on August 15th, 1769. He was born in Ajjacio, France. -

At age 9 he entered military school. Napoleon became an officer at 16 years old. -

Napoleons invasions of Egypt/Syria
Napoleon became a commander in chief in 1796 and convinced Frances Government to attack Egypt hoping to cut off Britain from trading. In 1798 he was attacking Syria and Egypt. He was later defeated by Horatio Nelson and his fleet destroyed most of Napoleons. -
Coup d’état
Everyone was getting sick of the government that France had so the people decided to overthrow it. Luckily, Napoleon had returned to France, he was met by cheers and the five hundred was annoyed by him. The five hundred were going to attack until Lucien Bonaparte wiped out the five hundred and saved Napoleon and got rid of the Government. -
Napoleonic Code
The Napoleonic code was a set of new rules for the people to follow. It was approved in 1804. -
Napoleons Coronation
Crowned Emperor of France on December 2nd 1804. Pope Pius VII came to the coronation and sat with Napoleon! -
Battle of Trafalgar
Napoleon and Nelson met again except this time Napoleon had Spain on their side. Britain was ready to combat them, Horatio Nelson won again. -

Played a little part in the Coup d'etat. Became king from 1808 to 1813. -

The French had 154,000 soldiers and Austria had 158,000 soldiers. Napoleon was successful and won the battle. -

The French had approximately 185,000 troops against 320,000 troops. Napoleon lost the battle. -
Napoleon exiled to Elba
Exiled in hoping his son would succeed him. The people said no and he was upset so they exiled him from France to Elba. -
Napoleons return to France
Tried to raise another grand army. Made his name popular and got supporters. -
Napoleons exlie (Saint Helena)
After the loss of Waterloo and attempting to retore himself to the throne Napoleon was exiled yet again. Except this time he never came back. -
Battle of Waterloo
Was against Wellington. Lost the battle and resulted in a second exile.
