    Microsoft announced Windows 3.0, on May 22. Compatible with DOS, the first version of
    Windows offered satisfaction and performance to PC users. The World Wide Web was born
    when Tim Berners-Lee, researcher at CERN, also HTML (HiperText Markup Language).

  • 1995

    Toy Story is the first feature film entirely generated by computer. Windows 95 is released on
    August 24 with a great marketing campaign. The Java programming language, launched in
    May, allows the development of platform independent applications. "Duke" is the first applet.

    The Netscape Navigator 2.0 is released. It was the first browser with Javascript support. Intel
    releases the Pentium processor of 150,166 & 200 MHz. They have the equivalent of 3.3 million
