Fantine's Arrest
Fantine was fired from Valjean's factory. Later Valjean saw her arrested by Javert for prostitution and fighting in street. Jean Valjean asked for her release due to her illness. -
Fantane's death
Fantine is dying and hallucinating that her daughter, Cosette, is there, and asks Valjean to bring her, prompting an irritated Javert to reveal that Cosette is still in Montfermeil and that the mayor is the ex-convict Valjean, upon which Fantine dies of shock. -
Escape after the second arrest and sentence
After saving a sailor Valjean faked his death by jumping into the ocean. He was later announced death by the authorities. -
Meet with Cosette
Jean Valjean arrived at Montfermeil and met Cosette in the forest in Christimas Eve.
