Used as a writing equipment in the early Mesopotamia, these clay tablets were written in cuneiform (the people’s writing system), inscribing different articles such as legends, literary works, legislations, and the like that the people intend to be stored. The clay tablets serve as a medium for us to appreciate ancient literature and to further understand the culture of the Near East so that we may inculcate within us the good character and values our forefathers had practiced.

Acta Diurna

Considered as the “Telegraph of Ancient Rome”, it is a bulletin posted in public places and carved in metal or stones. Its main purpose is to announce certain events that shall be known to the general public and legislations enacted by the Roman senate. In my perception, Acta Diurna truly played a vital role in public information for it helped the citizens of Rome to know military victories, laws, notable births and deaths, and such information that may affect their living.

Mayan Codex

The Mayan codices are folding books written in the Maya hieroglyphic script in the Mesoamerican paper by the professional scribes of the Howler monkey god by the Mayans. These codices should have been our basis in understanding the Mayan civilization and further explore the beauty of the Central American culture only if Spanish missionaries did not burn them.

A telephone that was invented by Alexander Grahambell, is a device that converts vibrations into electrical signals.With the help of his partner Thomas Watson they able to turn electricity into sound. With the help of the telephone communicating with long distances people makes more convenient.

Television that was invented by Philo Taylor Farnsworth II, is a system that transfers visual image and sounds / audio. It broadcast programs for entertainment and information. Television makes the dissemination of information much faster and it has a wide range of audience.

Transistor radio is a small portable radio receiver that uses transistor-based circuitry. Transistor radio uses signals and frequency in order to spread news faster to people just using the transistor radio.

Roger Appeldorn, who invented OHP or the overhead projector, uses light to project an enlarged image on the screen. It uses a transparent paper sized film. With the use of OHP the instructor who uses it can help the audience understand more about the topic being discussed since it uses enlarge images projected in the screen.

Same as a personal computer, it has the same characteristics to do tasks like a computer. But it is comfortable and easily to bring everywhere you go and do tasks.

And the most useful device that is easily to access Information, Communication, Photos, Videos, and ETC. This device used to surf internet browsers easily and make the users feel comfortable to communicate with each other.
