When I Was Born
The first time my grandmother heard me cry she said I sounded like a singer. Later many more of my relatives said the same thing. I guess we can say I have been a singer since day one. -
First Musical Annie Jr.
At the age of 8, Annie Jr. was the first musical I ever preformed in. This experience influenced my love for music and motivated me to be more involved in singing. I played the part of an orphan in the ensemble. -
Voice Lessons
After I had joined choir and had theatrical experience, I decided it would be beneficial to start taking private voice lessons. My first teacher's name was Eileen Burnbaum and I took lessons with her for about 2 years. She was taught me many of the basic but crucial techniques that singers use. -
First Voice Recital
i had my first voice recital around Christmas when I was 8. I sang Angels We Have Heard On High. There was about 150 people there and at the time that was the most people I have ever sang in front of. -
Gloucester County Children's Choir
I auditioned for the GCCC in the fall of 2009 when I was 9 years old. I had never been in a choir before so I once I joined I learned how to read choral music and harmonize. -
Trip to Washington DC
When I was about 12 or 13 the GCCC traveled to Washington DC for a music festival. This was the first time i got to travel for music. I t was also the first time I was able to hear music from all around the world. -
My Last Voice Recita
This year I had my last voice recital ever with my favorite teacher ever. Even though I only took lessons from South Jersey Voice Lessons for 2 years, it is where I learned the most and became more confident in my voice. For this recital I sang “Think of Me” from Phantom of the Opera -
2017 Talent Show
This was the second time I competed in one of PHS’ Talent Shows. I sang “Make you Feel My Love” by Adele, and got second place! I really enjoyed performing in front of people from the school.
