Beirut Barracks Bombing
This bombing happened during the Lebanese Civil War. Two truck bombs bombed two seperate housing units, the United States and French military houses. In the attack on the American Marines barracks, the death total, was 241 American servicemen. -
Lockerbie (Pan Am flight 103) Bombing
Pan Am flight 103 was an airplane that blew up of Lockerbie, Scotland and killed 259 passangers on the flight and 11 on ground. The person held responsible for it was held in a Scotland prison for many years, then was released because they thought he had cancer. -
World Trade Center Bombing
When a truck bomb was detonated below the North Tower. This bomb was meant to knock over the North Tower into the South Tower and knock them both down. It failed to do so, but did kill seven people and injured thousands. -
Oklahoma City Bombing
The Oklahoma bombing took 168 lives. This bombing was a terrorist bomb attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. The bomb was estimated to have caused at least $652 million worth of damage. -

USS Cole Bombing
This was a suicide attack against the United States Navy. The terrorist organization al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the attack.Seventeen American sailors were killed, and 39 were injured. This event was the deadliest attack against a United States Naval vessel since 1987. -
9/11 Attacks
There were a series of four coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States. The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing everyone on board and thousands of those working in the buildings. Both towers collapsed within two hours, destroying nearby buildings and damaging others. -
London Bombings
These bombings were suicide attacks upon the United Kingdom, going after people and tourists using London's public transport system during the morning rush hour. Four terrorists detonated four bombs, three were during the underground public trains. They set three off straight in a row, then they waited to set the fourth off on a double-decker tourist bus. Fifty-two people were killed in the attacks, and over 700 more were injured. -
Times Square Bombing Attempt
The attempted car bombing of Times Square was a planned terrorist attack that was foiled when two street vendors discovered the car bomb and alerted a NYPD Patrolman to the car bomb threat after they spotted smoke coming from a vehicle. The truck never actually exploded.
